The Kn Book cutting boards, designed by Roberto Vaia for KnIndustrie, are inspired by the reflections of the novel Kn by Carlo Belli, considered the Italian manifesto of abstract art, in which we aspire to create an art symbol of a new order that is detached from the figurative art, rejecting the concept of reality, and extends to other fields, such as music, painting and architecture. The choice of this volume as a source of inspiration is not accidental: as in abstract art there is an illusory perception of reality, so the new Kn Books take the form of books to hide the function of cutting boards. The collection, with clean and clean lines, is composed of three cutting boards made of three different types of wood: Canaletto Walnut, Oak and Ash. Like real books, the Kn Books also carry the title KN engraved on the back with different styles. The cutting boards can be sold separately or as a set of three cutting boards joined by a fabric strap, to be displayed in the kitchen as decorative elements until they are actually used. Dimensions: 27 cm (L) x 17.6 cm (P) x 2.5 cm (H).
